A collection of Stuart Live Steam models went under the hammer recently at British Toy Auctions. The group comprising a Beam Engine with wooden clad vertical single cylinder with steam and exhaust ports and a 7″ spoked flywheel, a ‘James Coombes’ Table Engine built by J. Sears with single cylinder, and a Williamson Brothers of Kendal live steam single cylinder column barn engine sold collectively for a total of £1140 (excluding buyer’s fees).
