A rare ‘Chamber of Chills’ #23 May 1954 golden age comic has been consigned to British Toy Auctions. The comic is a key issue with an iconic horror art cover by Lee Elias which was published prior to the establishment of the Comics Code Authority. The Authority was set up in 1954 as a self-regulating program governing content to ensure that comics were safe for young readers. This comic will be featured in our Monday 18th September sale (lot 694).
