British Toy Auctions is set to star in Johnny Vegas’ new antiques TV show.
Johnny Vegas’ Little Shop of Antiques will air at 9pm on Tuesday, July 8 on Discovery+’s Quest TV and British Toy Auctions, based at Berkeley Court in Runcorn, will feature in one of the eight new episodes.
As the team welcomed the St Helens comic to the venue, it wasn’t just another day in the office – it was a carnival of laughter, antiques and a touch of chaos! Johnny met with British Toy Auctions’ directors Michael Bain and Vanessa Smith and the trio had an absolute blast.
Vanessa said “From the moment Johnny strolled in with his larger-than-life personality to the moment he waved us goodbye, we were in stitches. Four hours of pure, unadulterated madness—and we wouldn’t trade it for the world!”
Not one to leave empty-handed, Johnny decided to bid in the auction and walked away with several treasures, with one of his purchases already making a splash in his newly opened shop at Dagfields in Cheshire.
